My art is inspired by the Pacific Northwest where I live. No other medium immerses me in the process of painting more than oil. When I paint, time disappears, and all that occupies my mind is how to capture the essence of what I see. I strive to recreate the feeling that inspired me to paint that certain scene or subject so that others can experience it the same way I do.
